Clients may be eligible for NDIS support, a rebate through Medicare or a rebate from their private health insurer.
NDISThe National Disability Insurance Scheme is a government funded program to allow a variety of children to access services to improve their daily living skills. All speech pathologists of Safe & Sounds Speech Pathology have experience working with clients who receive their funding through this scheme. We work with a range of clients who elect to self manage their plans or have plan support through a third party (i.e “plan managed” participants). Eligible clients may receive a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDM) from their General Practitioner and use this plan to receive a partial rebate for up to five speech pathology sessions per calendar year.
